Professional At Large- J.J. Meddaugh
J.J. Meddaugh is the President of A T Guys (www.atguys.com), a Kalamazoo-based assistive technology company specializing in affordable technology products, training, and consulting which primarily benefits those who are blind and visually impaired. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he was heavily involved in student government including the Western Student Association and the Residence Hall Association. A native of Saginaw, J.J. has been involved in programs for blind youth for most of his adult life including several summers working at Camp Tuhsmeheta as a counselor, Program Director, and Assistant Camp Director. He currently volunteers with the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan’s Youth Outreach Team and helps plan STEM-related activities for blind children and teens. J.J. also volunteers for the MBAA Sports Camps and is a board member of the Kalamazoo County Transportation Authority. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, trying new foods, goalball, the Detroit Tigers, and playing the keyboard.
